Does temptation have any good purpose?

Of sure temptations have a good purpose in our lives. It will make the Lord; our God bless you as a reward. He will give you double reward as he did to Job. No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13). Don't be discouraged if you are in the worst part of your life. The end has not yet come. Have hope in the Lord. He will help you.

In spiritual life sometimes you may not identify the temptation, which you are going through, but you may have a feeling that something is unusual and that is pushing you away from God. When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. There by, after desire is conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. In the beginning, you do not understand it is a temptation (James 1: 13 - 16). Even if God warns you in your spirit, you may ignore it. Once again God is telling you right now, "My dear child, my chosen one, come out of your temptation". 

You may ask "Lord every day, I'm trying to come out of it, but I can't succeed". It is okay to ask the Lord to help you. Just ask him, Lord, I need your help. I can't do it on my own. He is waiting for you to call him so that he can help you. He will safely get you out of it. Your battle belongs to him so be still. Always remember that war belongs to the Lord and the victory belongs to you.

If you don't take these warnings as a serious issue, it will cause another defect in your spiritual life. Maybe it can be some kind of physical pain that separates you from your loving God. We can't keep our promises all the time which we made to our Lord. Be careful and fulfill your promises. 

Fasting and prayer will help you to overcome all kind of evil spirits and temptations. These spirits will pull your spiritual life down. Don't worry you can overcome all these temptations with the help of the Lord. Temptations won't last long.

Pray and pray so that you will come out of these temptations and evil spirits easily with the mighty power of Almighty God.

Abide in Him, Be Faithful, and Commit to God.
